Accessories get dirty faster than the cup because they touch the drink and your hands. Wash them with the tumbler. Warm water and mild soap are enough. Pull the straw out so you can rinse through it. Let the magnet side dry. Store the cap on the lid or in a clean spot so it does not pick up bag lint.
